Fiber abundant diet for weight loss

Foods rich in fiber is important in battling weight, this is one way to help in the weight loss formula as this type of food aids in  healthy digestion and also burn up calories. Eating healthy fiber rich food in your diet is an uncomplicated addition to the weight loss plan. Nearly   whole grains, fruits, vegetables, berries, nuts, beans, and even dried fruits are rich in fiber that can be added to the daily diet. Substituting high calorie junk food or snack with fresh or dried fruit, vegetables and nuts is a   smart way to lose weight in a healthy way. Substitute whole grains for white bread to burn fat, which can help in weight loss.

There are two types of fiber; they are soluble and insoluble fibers. Soluble fibers can dissolve in water which helps to lessen the blood glucose levels and blood cholesterol. The common soluble rich foods include; beans, apples, oats, carrots, psyllium seed husk, peas and citrus fruits. Insoluble fiber rich diet includes wheat bran, nuts, whole wheat flour, and almost all vegetables. Having 8-10 glasses with fiber rich diet is very important for weight loss. Fiber rich diets allow the stomach to feel full; however the dieter is eating less to have a full feeling. One of the reasons for this is that fiber rich foods slow the rate of digestion, and that allows the stomach to feel full longer. The foods that are not rich in fiber belong to food groups such as  dairy products and meat, which  contains no fiber and in polished grains the fiber the active properties  are removed, so it is best to avoid these foods when dieting.
